|multiply your plants
Often I want more plants. I recently bought an expensive hydrangia. When planting it, I noticed that one branch was breaking off. I cut it off and then cut it into four short ie 4 inch sections each having a leaf or leaves. Cut the leaves back to one. Dipped the end that was toward the ground into rooting hormone and stuck them into a pot of potting soil.
I looked yesterday and three of them were growing. So many of the shrubs or flowers can be rooted and it is well worth the effort.
